And a simple message.

K2 & Associates is a New Zealand company that provides performance training to businesses and public sector organisations. The company director wanted a presence on the web that would spell out exactly what the company was and what it did. And it had to be a site which didn’t require any developer hand-holding to manage from day today.

Using WordPress as the framework delivered a site that allows the client an almost completely free rein in editing and adding content. WordPress pages are used for the site’s main sections, and posts are harnessed to provide additional, section-specific content.

The technology

Although many people think of WordPress only as a blogging platform, it provides a highly featured CMS framework. Both appearance and behaviour are relatively easy to customise, and the interface can be simplified for client use if necessary.

The process

First WordPress was installed, then the template was customised. After that Karren was able to author content at her own pace. When that was complete final polishing took place, including the selection of additional images.

The client

Karren is the remarkable Director of K2 & Associates and Manager of Future Now. She couples her qualifications as an NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer with a successful track record helping businesses to grow and prosper.
